Essential Job Functions
Working as part of a team and managing all Sales and operational activities in the assigned area. This includes developing the strategy for growth and sales positioning, forming strong personal relationships with client's partners and other divisions of the company's Services at all levels internally, within the Group, and with external clients.
Specific targets revolve around Product Development & Commercialization, Business set-up, technical presentation & Sales in a specific geographic area, Contract negotiations, new market entrance.
Role and Responsibilities
Strong Technical, organization, managerial and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and to lead a team.
Lead the commercialization of new products within Gowell. Train clients & GOWell personnel on tools benefits
Developing and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships at the highest levels in client organizations.
Developing full understanding of customer and market needs / opportunities / competition.
Identifying, developing and delivering profitable growth opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with the Group principles, HSE and ethics always.
Assisting with maintaining sales forecast database and marketing intelligence for the assigned geographic region and coordinating as required with other divisions.
Regular visits to existing and potential clients.
Skills and Experiences
Must have over 5 years' experience in the Sales with Wireline / Geoscience sector, preferably in Sub Sahara Africa
Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including MS Office and ERP, at proficient levels.
Excellent communication, coordination, Negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to take the initiative and work unsupervised.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university, preferably in Business, Math, Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or Engineering
Requires extensive skill in providing great customer service.
Must have commercial business experience.
Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
