At GOWell, we are constantly advancing to meet our customers´ growing needs. Our roots are in China, where the company was founded. After a few short years, we expanded globally to support our customer base. We now have research and development groups in Houston (USA) and in Xi’an (CN), as well as technical support centers in several countries to provide training for using our technologies. We have come a long way, and we are eager to continue our growth while maintaining and fostering a friendly and familial environment. At GOWell, everyone makes a difference.

2019: New corrosion evaluation tool

Launched the GOWell Enhanced Pipe Detector Tool (ePDT), our latest-generation electromagnetic (EM) corrosion evaluation wireline tool that can evaluate five concentric tubular strings

2018: distributed fibre-optic sensing

  • Launched the GOWell Distributed Temperature Sensor (DTS) Pro interrogator solution

  • Partnered with Interpretive Software Products (ISP) as their authorized distributor of PLATO software for production logging and DTS interpretation

2016:

  • Introduced the GOWell Array Noise tool (ANT), a unique technology that enables continuous real-time leak and flow detection

  • Introduced the GOWell Radial Bond Log (RBL), a fully digital and combinable radial cement bond evaluation tool

  • Launched the GOWell Micro-Conductivity Imager (MCI) into our GallopStar Formation Evaluation Suite

  • Integrated the GOWell Modular Formation Pressure Tester (MFPT) into the GOWell GallopStar Formation Evaluation Suite

2015: Continued Expansion and Developments

  • Added a GOWell presence in Aberdeen, Scotland to support Europe and Jakarta in Indonesia to support Asia Pacific.

  • Launched the GOWell PeagasusStar Cased Hole Logging Platform.

  • Introduced the GOWell Magnetic Thickness Detector (MTD), our 3-barrier corrosion detection technology

2014: Product line expansion

  • Expanded production lines from well integrity to formation evaluation and production monitoring with the support of our R&D teams.

  • Launched the GOWell GallopStar Open Hole Logging System and a range of Gallop series downhole open hole tools.

  • Partnered with Epidote, a software company based in Aberdeen Scotland, and integrated our electromagnetic (EM )corrosion evaluation technology into their Multi-Finger Image Processing Software (MIPSPro) software platform.

2009 to 2013: International Expansion

  • Established the GOWell brand by renaming the parent company as GOWell and designating Petroleum Equipment (China) as our primary engineering and manufacturing center

  • GOWell International LLC (Houston, Texas) serves as Western Hemisphere sales and support center along with corporate management and R&D functions

  • GOWell Oilfield Technology FZE established in Dubai, UAE as our primary sales and support center for the Middle East–North Africa (MENA) region and beyond

  • GOWell Oilfield Technology (Canada LTD) established as our sales and support center for Canada and Alaska markets

  • GOWell Oilfield Technology (Azerbaijan) established to support our sales in the Caspian region

  • GOWell Wireline Technology de Mexico established to provide sales and support in Mexico
