Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of maintenance solutions.

  • Provide technical assistance, materials selection and creation of guidelines.

  • Lead and carry out Maintenance Engineering activities, deliverables and maintenance for all projects.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance input into designs.

  • Carry out maintainability reviews.

  • Perform maintenance as required on the tools returned from the field.

  • Resources Planning (working closely with AP Ops coordinator in Indonesia)

  • Equipment Logistics in Kemaman and any operations support out of Kemaman (Such as Thailand, Brunei, India etc)

  • Perform regular maintenance on rental logging tools.

  • Provide direction and make recommendations for preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

  • Provide project engineering for maintenance.  

  • Involved in project scoping, and estimating, including material specification, procurement, contractor supervision and scheduling.

  • Provide direction to Maintenance and Construction personnel regarding specifications, repairs, and installation of equipment.

  • Establish requirements, build asset hierarchies, and develop maintenance data methodologies.

  • Will visit customers.

  • Professional, hard-working, quick learner, ability to multitask and willing to bet your hands dirty.

  • Utility Player – with a wide range of experience with construction, lab, it, and physical activity that could aid our start-up.

  • Local – confident and able to communicate well with others.

  • Work with the Quality Compliance department regarding compliance issues.

  • Continuously fully comply with all regulatory related requirements.

  • Committed to a high standard of safety and willing to comply with all safety laws and all of the company’s safety policies and rules. Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experiences

  • Ability to meet the highest attendance requirements.

  • Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, at proficient levels.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Electrical / Electronic Engineering preferred)

  • At least 3 years in the oil and gas industry with experience in repair and maintenance of electronic tools

  • Experience in well logging and data acquisition operations is preferred

  • Kemaman based or willing to relocate to Kemaman

  • Willing to travel and be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

  • Could involve some lifting, up to 50 lbs.
